Exploring the Room of Quiet Contemplation
#winhkflight
The Room of Quiet Contemplation invites visitors to witness two pensive bodhisattva statues, each revered as a National Treasure. Crafted in the late sixth and early seventh century, these statues exude timeless serenity as they sit in deep contemplation, their right legs crossed over the left and fingers gently touching their cheeks. Utilizing advanced casting techniques of their time, these statues epitomize a blend of simplicity and grandeur, symbolizing enlightenment and reflection on the human condition. As I stroll through the dimly lit corridor, I am drawn to the tranquil presence of these statues, inspiring deep thoughts and introspection about life's journey.
Hope you with flight to Hong Kong and see Tian Tan Buddha statue #cherryblossom2024 #koreatrip

National Museum of Korea
Absolutely amazing museum that's completely FREE! Beautiful architecture and the design of the building and the pond in front is stunning. The museum contains a comprehensive historical account of Korea and also contains some international influenced exhibits/galleries of the neighboring countries/areas.
The impressive digital 360 degree projection exhibit is a highlight that transforms the room that you're in and takes you to another dimension.#couplestrip #awesomepic #deliciousfood

#celebratewithtrip
The. National Museum of Korea is the largest museum in South Korea and showcases the fascinating history and art of Korea. It is located in Yongsan, Seoul.
The museum is situated in the tranquil Yongsan Family Park, therefore it is surrounded by beautiful scenery and landscape..
In the museum there a a few area for the viewing on the 1st floor you can find the Prehistoric to Early Modern History and on the 2nd floor will be the Korean Paintings, Buddhist Art and Calligraphy and lastly on the 3rd floor you can see Buddhist Sculptures, Metal Arts and Ceramics.
In my opinion, no trip to Seoul would be complete without visiting the National Museum of Korea. This is an awesome place to learn about the culture and history of Korea

Beautiful view of National Museoum of Korea
The National Museoum of Korea is located in the yongsan district of Seoul and very closed to Han River.
It is one of the largest museums in South Korea. It is impossible to finish in one day this museum, which has more than 400,000 collections. Inside, you can learn a lot about Korean culture and history by watching videos.
There is also a lake outside the Museum with a magnificent view. You can walk or drinking coffee around.
I believe that even those who find it boring to visit museums will come and have a pleasant time.

National Museum of Korea is actually cool
I’m a fan of mainly contemporary art, but it’s important to visit these traditional epic places to learn about the history and stuff. And a lot of the modern art got its roots in the old relics and pieces that I saw in this museum. The place is huge so be careful and wear your most comfortable shoes. And to really be able to look at all of it you should probably allot no less than 3 to 4 hours to your visit.

📍Various cultural assets are on display, including a digital restoration of the Gwanggaeto Stele, the Ten-story Stone Pagoda from Gyeongcheonsa Temple, and the Samguk Sagi, among others.

The National Museum of Korea is an impressive place where art and archeology meet history. Entry to all permanent exhibitions is free of charge.
The museum itself is quite large and made of multiple buildings, you need to allow at least 4-5 hours to see most of it.
You'll get to learn about the rich history of Korea all while enjoying the astonishing architecture and beautiful nature that surrounds the museum.
They also have some robot guides that you can ask, which made the experience very fun.

Watching an early Indian Buddhist art exhibition in Seoul, South Korea
This exhibition is in the special exhibition hall of the National Museum in Seoul. The regular exhibition of the National Museum is free, but this special exhibition requires a ticket of 10,000 Korean won, about 55 yuan.
This is probably the most expensive ticket I bought during my seven-day free trip in South Korea. Tickets to other places are very cheap, for example, a combined ticket for the five palaces in Seoul only costs 8,000 Korean won, and it is valid for three months; most of the attractions I went to do not require tickets.
The special exhibition ends on April 14 this year.
Look at their layout, it's thoughtful and comfortable to look at.
In fact, there are often foreign exhibits coming to domestic museums for exhibition. The problem is that if it is a popular exhibition, there are too many people. I remember that year when the British Museum came to Shanghai to exhibit '100 Artifacts in World History', obviously this is a top-level exhibition, but you have to queue up. I was on the scene, but I didn't see it because the queue was too long. At that time, I thought, just go to the British Museum.
Usually I think there are too few cultured people in China, but when you go to see a good exhibition, especially a free one, it seems that everyone is cultured.
The next post will write about regular exhibitions.
